I have been self taught up to this point in my cake making. I decided to take a couple of cake courses and learnt many techniques that definitely make things a lot easier for me. Below is my 'Final Cake' after completing a course on Fondant and Gumpaste. I loved learning how to make the gumpaste flowers and now have an appreciation as to why wedding cakes are so expensive.
